The patina is correct for a 115 year old gun. Most of the blueing is still on the follower indicating limited usage, the bolt face has 95% of the blueing remaining, the bolt itself shows 95% blueing, little wear on either side, the loading gate shows no elongated scratching which also contributes to what we believe as lack of use. Some of the screw slots show usage. All of the numbers and letters are sharp and clean. Case hardened hammer is as it should be. The wood in general is normal for a gun of this age. No cracks but normal usage marks. The curved metal butplate has about 50% of case hardening remaining. The front sight blade is brass and we are not sure if that is original. In general this is one of the better model 92s that we have seen.
